As you navigate Surple, you will see different coloured bars on energy charts. You'll find these charts on pages including the Dashboard, Analytics and Highlights. These bars are designed to draw your attention to points of interest.
Orange bars represent periods where your consumption was the furthest above the energy consumption that Surple expected based on your historical usage. This doesn't necessarily mean that there was an alarming usage level but can help you identify periods for further investigation.
Green bars represent periods where your consumption was the furthest below the energy consumption that Surple expected based on your historical usage. This typically identifies a period where you were efficient with your energy use.
Red bars represent anomalies. These are periods where Surple's Anomaly Detection service has identified unexpectedly high or low energy consumption. This could indicate that someone has left a piece of equipment running or maybe that something is malfunctioning.
